At the initiative of Karine Lalieux , Alderman of Culture of the City of Brussels , B- GALLERY is now associated with the CENTRAL for contemporary art to actively support emerging artists . The Contemporary Art of the City center will now offer to former winners to invest its space dedicated to young artists, the CENTRALEBox .
The call for proposals is open to artists living in Belgium have less than 10 years of artistic career. Located in the beautiful Bortier Gallery ( Saint- Jean 17-19 , 1000 Brussels, close to the Grand Place ) , the B -Gallery is a place open to multidisciplinary experimental painting, photography, sculpture, video, installation, illustration, drawing, textile … This exhibition space of 92 m2 offers recipients the opportunity to mount a solo exhibition for a period of four weeks , with the support of the City of Brussels and CENTRAL .

In addition to providing a channel for institutional diffusion , the City of Brussels supports: – The provision of space – Support for the production of the exhibition of four hundred euros;
– A professional photographic report – a catalog at the end of the season – The promotion of the exhibition – The production of invitations and posters;
– The opening – Guarding .
The selection will be carried out by a jury of art professionals .
Projects related to issues of contemporary art , designed to place and taking into account its specificities, will be favored . Note that projects obscuring the space will not be taken into account, the B -Gallery also operates as a showcase .
To participate, shall be admissible only records COMPLETE including: 1 . Your personal details + artistic CV (Word / PDF ) 2. A general introduction to your work ( Word / PDF format ) 3. A description and statement of intent on the concept of the exhibition planned

format ( Word / PDF ) 4. Minimum of five visual quality ( jpeg , low resolution) .
